Over Ons

For adults, we offer many options for care.

But what about all those children who need extra care? What about the parents, informal caregivers, brothers, and sisters of these children?

Are we taking these children and their parents into account enough?
This project meets the needs of about a thousand children in Belgium who suffer from a chronic condition or rare disease.

• Respite care and day care for children are still little known in Belgium.
• Respite care is not a luxury product, but a necessity.

Why the name “Casa Sabba”?

Sabba is a chocolate Labrador who is already very closely involved in caring for children. This is also why the idea arose to name the entire concept after him.

Incidentally, the intention is also to closely involve animals in the care of children. Involving animals in care has a very therapeutic effect.

The non-profit association Casa Sabba will focus on 3 pillars:

  • Home nursing for children
  • A respite home for children with a chronic illness
  • A day care for children with a little something extra.
